Sipoonkorpi National Park

Sipoonkorpi is a National Park with densely wooded forests and unspoilt wilderness, excellent terrain for picking mushrooms and berries, gently flowing rivers and bird song – only 24 kilometres from Helsinki City Centre. At the edge of Sipoonkorpi are several beautiful villages in a traditional meandering landscape. The wild forest offers great opportunities to ski, hike, cycle, climb, look for geocaches and, above all, relax.

Sipoonkorpi is suitable for visitors of all ages, and the park is worth visiting throughout the year. Ponun Perinneposti is a short nature trail (1.4 km), which goes through lush forests and pastures in the area called Byabäcken. Hard core hikers will find enough trails for a several-day hike.

Sipoonkorpi is easy to reach by car or public transport. There are parking areas available at, for example, Länsitie 152 and Länsitie 237 in the Byabäcken area in Sipoo. From the parking area in Byabäcken there is direct access to the trail called Ponun Perinneposti.
